About XRSC

XR Social Club was founded July 2019 as an experiment.

It used to be hard to hang out with people in VR. Then came the Oculus Quest and it suddenly became easy to meet up with friends, to push the envelope of what we could do in virtual reality.

It was this idea — That social VR is the future of the medium and we have the opportunity to explore its potential — which inspired the creation of XRSC. And thanks to the 25,000+ worlds in VR Chat, and a growing number of other social metaverses, there’s a ton to explore.

Research indicates that virtual reality affects our neural pathways similar to real life experiences, and thus, our experiences together at XRSC are real memories forever forged into our brains.
